Please ensure you read and understand our terms and conditions before making a booking. You will be required to sign a copy of these before your booking is confirmed.
Vaccination, Flea & Worm Treatments
Proof of current vaccination against Feline Panleukopenia (Enteritis), Calicivirus and Rhinotracheitis (Herpes), administered at least 10 days prior to boarding, must be produced before acceptance in to the cattery. If you are unsure if your cat is up to date with their vaccinations please consult your veterinarian.
Cats must be up to date or be treated for fleas and worms at least 7 days prior to boarding. We reserve the right to administer this treatment, if found necessary, at your expense.
Desexing
Cats must be neutered/spayed to be accepted as a guest at Tauranga Cat Hotel. At our sole discretion, we may accept un-neutered kittens although it will be necessary to accommodate them in their own individual unit.
Illness & Accident
You must advise us of all information regarding the wellbeing of your cat, e.g. dietary, medical or behavioural, together with an emergency contact in New Zealand.
Should your cat require veterinary attention during their stay we will make contact with you or your emergency contact and transport your cat to the vet for treatment. All costs incurred will be passed on to you. A fee of $30.00 is charged per vet visit.
Tauranga Cat Hotel will take full care of all guests but will not be held liable under any circumstances for any illness, disease, injury, accident, loss or death for any reason whatsoever.
Deposits & Payment
Deposits are non-refundable irrespective of cancellation notice given.
A 25% deposit is required prior to any booking being confirmed by us. Christmas bookings (15th December to 31st January) and bookings over 30 days require a 50% deposit. Bookings over the Christmas period are required to be a minimum of 10 days.
Boarding fees are charged per calendar day. Final payment is required on collection of your cat(s) by cash, eftpos, Visa or Mastercard. A 3% fee applies to credit card payments. We do not accept payment by cheque.
Cancellations & Early Collection of Your Cat
You must notify us in writing of any cancellation at least 48 hours before commencement of the booking. Failure to give this notice will result in the full booking amount being payable.
The full amount of any booking is payable regardless of your cat(s) being collected earlier than planned.
Bookings made during peak times (school/public holidays & Christmas period) will be payable in full irrespective of cancellation notice given.
Out of Hours Collection
With prior agreement, after hours arrival or departure will attract an additional charge of $30.00.
Debt Collection
In the event that any boarding or cancellation fees remain outstanding, the debt will be referred to Baycorp NZ Ltd for recovery. All recovery costs will be passed on to you for settlement in addition to the unpaid boarding fees.
